We are delighted and proud, to welcome you to The Haven, a truly unique, family-owned venue set in stunning surroundings in the heart of the beautiful fishing village of Dunmore East, in Ireland’s Sunny South East.
Following a fire in 2016 the hotel was extensively renovated and refurbished, but the original features, quirkiness and charm remain. While it was a devastating time it also gave us the opportunity to make some fantastic improvements!
We pride ourselves on serving delicious home cooked food and celebrate Irish produce specialising in Roast Rib of Prime Irish Beef and locally caught seafood.
We host regular live music events in the bar, on the patio or in our glass marquee – check our Events Page for details.
On Sundays, in the summer months, our Family Fun Sundays are a must with live music, bouncy castle fun, food stalls on the patio and indoor and outdoor bars.

Children are especially welcome. Relax with a coffee or a drink and enjoy our breathtaking views while they play on the lawns or in our safe playground. We have free wifi throughout the hotel.

We specialise in bespoke wedding receptions and we are an approved venue for Civil Ceremonies.

Our menu caters to all budgets and tastes, with children especially welcome.
The Haven started life as a private home all our bedrooms are different sizes to accommodate families and couples alike.
They have recently been completely renovated and refurbished, and each boasts comfy beds with crisp white sheets, a flat screen multi-channel television, hairdryer, tea/coffee hospitality tray and free WIFI.
Many rooms have stunning sea views. One of our bedrooms on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible.
Pat and I want to say a big thank you to all the Kelly family involved in the running the Haven Hotel.
A huge thank you to ALL the Staff working there. Nothing was two much trouble to make all of us happy. The weather was very kind to us and we could not have been in a more wonderful place in the world. Sharon and Paul particularly made all the planning etc very easy going, (so I was told).

Just a quick thank you to all of the Staff at The Haven. I have a young family and the staff catered for us very well. The food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. When in Dunmore again next year, we’ll be returning to The Haven for sure.
